The Helpmann Academy empowers South Australia’s most promising emerging creatives to realise their visions and build sustainable practices by providing professional development opportunities including grants and awards, fellowships, mentorships, masterclasses and seminars, advisory services and international artist residencies.
Valued at up to $10,000, the Creative Investment Fellowships were created to assist emerging creatives with larger projects and professional development programs as they forge beyond the challenges of 2020 and further their creative practice. The Creative Investment Fellowships will fund opportunities of significance, unique to the applicant, that will develop their artistic practice in meaningful and vital ways, empowering them to take the next step in their career development. A self-directed program of activities may include residencies, specialist training, long-term workshops and internships with recognised institutions or professional practitioners.
