The Art Gallery of South Australia was established in 1881, and forms part of a boulevard of historic cultural institutions that line North Terrace.
The Foundation supports The Studio and START youth programs at the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA). The Studio is a free learning activity space children, families and art lovers of all ages. The Start At The Gallery program is held on the first Sunday of each month for children under 12 and their families. More than 300,000 children and families have engaged with AGSA through these programs.
